monsoon ride.... a ride with home minister....

call up most bikers still not available. i ask DR if she interested to go cruising. she said ok. regardless of the rain, i start the engine and cruise. in gambang i called one of our friend in grik to know whether she is around or not. she didnt pick up. then we cruise again. at genting sempah i got a missed call from her. i return her call then. she said she is around. i told DR, lets go to grik hahahha. i took batang kali route. man... the whether was so nice.. user friendly lah hehehhe.. cold and breezy until we reach plus highway.

frankly speaking old songs are more relaxing.. eg beattles, hail amir uji rashid, nirvana and so forth.. hahaha that why sinar fm/suria fm is so popular lately..

hot sunny day from tj malim to kk... we rode into pekan kk and have the cendol and laksa.. to be exact zimbo laksa... zahidi and otomeng recommend this place. just by the river bank. a lot of people lepaking, enjoying the view and weather...

nice laksa... but i prefer laksa kuoh teghanung lah... jilak sapa siku.. bejeluk ahhh

we stopped by mckk.... where the leader are born.. hahhahah am i rite?? or just gimmic... otomeng sons' is studying here... he must be very smart man... not easy to get in this school. boarding school maaa....

tasik raban view. you can see the bridge.. raja nazrin shah bridge.. and also the lake raban resort under construction. almost 70% completed.

from kk to grik we passed by zeks' hometown just beside tasik raban up the hill. been there before. very nice place. people there suppose to be fair but not to zek hehehhe....

in grik we overnite at sri temenggor hotel... boleh laaa.....

our old friend in the states AG. she was an artist back in the states during our school time. she can dance, act, cook, massage and so forth. she a celebrity. everyone knows her. very nice person. always laugh. her husband is from grik. thats how she settled down there.

the next day we took off early morning. stop by at salims' corner. you wont missed this place. its at the junction once you enter grik from kota baru.

tasik banding...

it was cold, raining when we arrived at titiwangsa. very cold since its still early in the morning. while resting here we keep thinking of someone that we can visit in our way home. next stop may be kb. so i start calling friends in kb. manage to get 2. one in kb and 1 in kg raja.

got flat tyre entering ketereh. thank god my bike got indicator. manage to find a bike shop. its friday and so lucky to find one. we fortunate its happen in kb. if its happened somewhere along the east-west highway, our trip this time will be longer. 

dropped by at din boye house in kb somewhere husm to be exact. his wife prepare lunch for us. we are hungry though hahahha... got 2 plates of rice with beef and chicken curry. this couple work as dr in husm. din boye is a specialist. he said his expertise is lung... well something like that.

we move on to kg raja thru tok bali. tok bali is famous of tok bali itself and the marine industry in that area. fishing industry also booming here. along the i stopped by at a petrol station and met one of my ex student-iera. then i went to her kerepok kiosk. she running this kiosk together with her family.

din long. met him in pasir raja. went to his house. his wife and the kids around. both of em are teachers. they all seems very happy residing in kg raja. he told me everything is cheap here. nice place, quiet town. din long and din boye are my school mate in kuatan back in 1990's. 

stopped by near penarik... cant resist when i saw aiskreng batang... jeruk pauh dalam tu.... we travel from kb to kuatan using coastal road. most of the time sea view on our left.

at kuala dungun bridge. this  bridge connecting kuala dungun and seberang pintasan where tj jara is located. used to work here in dungun with rhb bank.

basically this is the first long distance ride with DR. only 2 of us. not bad i think during this raining season. have dinner at papadelle. none of the bikers available that nite. arrived home 930pm safe and sound.... enjoy the ride very much..
