20141101 romantic couple from shah alam joint me to cameron

nothing to do during the weekend. planned to ride but not confirm. luckily apok came to pick up his new bike from chear. i told them why not coming with me to cameron. he wasnt up to it because he got nothing on him for overnight.  he finally make up his mind to come to cameron with me. he said he buy everything in cameron.

we left kuantan at 430pm. i was raining when we reach maran. pouring so heavy. the day getting dark. when we start climbing, it was already dark. like 730pm in sg koyan i guess. reach brinchang for dinner at 830pm. cold and raining.

first time having breakfast at this restaurant. not bad. near our apartment. its a buffet. rm5 per head. full package. appetizer, main course, dessert.

20140513 offroad to jeram tanduk

this is a program by kmx or kemaman motocross. one of the most active club in chukai. they always have programs almost every weeks. talked to mahat a few days before that. he mentioned of going camping in jeram tanduk. i said can i joint but i wont be staying over nite. since i am from kuantan got to ride all the way to jeram tanduk for camping. i know some bikers will do that but not me. hahhaha not adventure enough i guess.

i asked pok harr and also pekan. i know pekan hardly say no to offroad. so three of us with big bikes.

we arrived around 10am at the camping site. these guys are preparing for riding in the jungle. thats what motox is for right. almost 20 of em went for riding while we just relaxing, eating, swimming in the river.

very fresh, calm, relaxing but the watewr not too clear since it was raining for few days.

so this is jeram tanduk. one of the popular camping site in air putih.

besides motorcycle, we also have cyclist from cukai riding up until here. hahha no me babehh...

we went home around 2pm. nice road for offroading. but the track is short. we have to go in and get out from the same route. we are still looking for better route that we do not have to turn back. offroading is much better safer than riding on the hiway.

20140621-20140622 solo ride to cameron

jiwa kacau a little bit i guess. switch on the bike rode to cameron alone after having breakfast with the heroes and heroins. this is the onyl time free before ramadhan. left kuantan about 11 am. hot sunny day. met a few group of bikers from kuantan at shell temerloh. taking 10 minutes break as usual.

stopped by a few places for drinks and fruits break. from bentong to raub got a few fruit stalls. heavily with jackfruits and musang king.

arrived at bharat tea around 2pm for masalla tea and scones. its compulsary for me to stopped here everytime in cameroon. its kinda tradition. not because of scones taste good.

have not decide where to stay. but when i was on the way to equatorial i saw a few familiar faces by the road side in tanah rata. i stopped by and found out it was president bikers from kuantan. they all just finished their program in kuala medang with the department of fisheries.

i joint them for a drinks and they invited me to stay with them. since i was alone and got room available and i joint them. staying in CAMERON HOLIDAY APARTMENT in DESA ANTHURIUM. Nice apartment. worth of the rental.

have not ride with these guys before. make new friends. all of them are friendly and easy to get along. having dinner at tomyam pak ali in berinchang. heavy dinner after a long day ride. i am starvingggg...

first time having fresh sea coconut. not as good as what i had in the can.

20140615 ict again

zack organized this ride. i am already in terengganu visiting my father in icu. anje, kim, dj and zack rode that day. anje called me to wait for them in hospital. most of the king knows my father. thank you for zack, anje, dj and kim for the moments visiting my lovely father. even though he is still in coma at that time.

we were at pok nong at 230pm. biasala special treatmetn from pok nong. hahhaha thanks pok nong.

it was a very nice saturday morning. you can see the it was breezy all to way to sg lembing township. thats what we are hoping for. unfortunately, it was raining the night before will make the road worst. three of us pekan, kim and me myself. pok arr pull out due to bini yang menakutkan i guess hahahahha

after we rode about half an hour, we arrived at this place. i heard about this abandon chalet before. i thought its near to the pelangi waterfall. i guess the new owner refurbished this place. nice place for family day or getaway. no phone line here. if you are thinking of surfing, wassaping, facebooking forget about it hahahah

this is where we end up. picnic area near air terjun pelangi. actually i call zack asking him to joint us. he said he already had plan with his offshore gang. but he not sure where. he call me again and said about this place. i said fantastic. we can him as well. even he will be going with 4x4. 8 of em if i am not mistaken. so we makan free. the gulai was awesome. thanks to this group for letting to join them. feel like attending kenduri kawin. seriously. good curry.

we spend couple of hours here before headed back to the town. 

actually we tipped and fell all way long from the entrance hahahha.

look at kimi. the best thing is everytime a rider fall, we went for a picture first before helping him with the bike.

we stooped by at pasir kubur. my favorite spot for family picnic. not many people that day because of the rain pouring the night before.

in conclusion.. GS serve the purpose. the best bike for overlanding and offroading. this bike perform well in the condition. the drawback for my bike is the grip heater. other than that no complaint from me for GS. last but not least thanks to zack and the gang again. for a lovely lunch and hospitality.
