20150219-20 penyabung, endau, mersing

no more plan trip. all are ad hoc. who is free jalan. some are not happy when they were left over because did not get the news. what to do.. morale of the story ... if you feel like to ride just ride. dont think about others..

no where to go trip initited by arun ajis. udang is in our mind. but no definate ending point.

we ended at udang rompin with azura places'.got 2 kilos of shrimp with a few cuisine.

we met kdp on the way to tanjung balai. most of them are our friends as well. pok arr left home after having lunch. me and ah fok just keep riding to the south. we did not book any hotel. i told afok just keep riding.

i passed thru here a few times but never stop. coastal road from endau to mersing. we stopped at tanjung penyabung and also pasir lanun. surprisingly, this place is beautiful, a lot of people camping, picnic and off course the hotel, chalet around here were fully booked. i taught air papan is the only point of interest around here. we went to tanjung resang and teluk gorek as well looking for the hotel.

we finally found a resort to stay. teluk penyabung resort. newly open resort. owned by cme group of companies.

there is a warong in front of endau beach resort. sells various kind of food. very nice night view.

it normal for me not to have a good sleep first night away from home. woke up around 5am. guling galok until subuh. after that went straight to the beach watching the sunrise.

met ibrahim kn staying the same resort. he told us that the chalet belong to his brother. his brother took over this place.

the rock behind us is tanjung penyabong. according to the locals the name originated from sabung ayam. those days people 'sabung ayam' here.

for me, the views here is much more better than air papan.i loike.

if we look closer we can see 1 keelong near the island. local claim the keelong used by the people for gambling.

thank you to pok arr and ah pok for the ride. even pok arr only with us for lunch. we left the resort around 10 am. look forward for next trip.

20150110 post flood relief temerloh

meng, dj and kim plan this ride. patin ride. i am not in favor of patin so not so eager. anyway, because of riding, i decided to go. i was left behind actually. catched up with them in temerloh.

we went around in bandar temerloh but most of the restaurants still closed due to flood. end up here. all patin finished. just whatever they have.

20150103-04 flood relief tanamera

dj called asking whether i am available or not for tanamera flood relief tomorrow morning. i said yes. why not. i am free anyway. most of my friends already have activities. tanamera is one of the most affected flood area in kelantan. the worst is kuala krai. they decided to bring help to tanamera since kk already congested with people from all over malaysia.

we gathered at dj house at 2pm for loading all the stuff. total vehicle is 15 fully loaded and ready to rock and roll.

biasala dj and the gang never failed with food. actually we try to stop at pok nong. but pok nong was closed. we end up having ICT in rhu sepuluh. ate here before but expensive. we dont have enough choice that day since the day was getting dark.

the convoy overnite in kg raja besut. we have dinner in one of the best thai restaurant in kg raja. thats what people claim. for me food is food. you eat anyway. i forgot the name of this place. its near the main junction in kg raja.

in kg raja we stayed at 2 homestay. it was sponsored by the yb from that area.

first stop.. cant imagine the situation. i think its twice the worst flood we had in kuantan and kemaman 2 years ago.

the view in kg kudsia.. feel sorry for those victims. pray for them to stay strong. be calm. look for a better future.

we unloaded all the stuff on that day before headed home. mission completed.

had our late lunch at e-rup sup pasir putih. not many restaurant open in tanamera. in addition expensive during this time. 

not even an hour after that we stopped again in satay jabi. first time . not bad. full house. but we manage to get seats. will come again.

thanks all for the support. we had a great moments distributing the foods rations etc. good effort all. even i am just ad hoc volunteer but its worth of going.
