down south ride 20110325-20110327

my wife told me she will be back for a few days. she said why dont we ride somewhere. i said ok why not. so i arrange two babysitters. as usual ayu and lin. they all got no problem with that. so all set to go.

day 1-friday

just wait for my wife to get home. i thot she we will early. but you know with two kids while driving from kt to kuantan wasnt easy. when i came back from friday prayer she already home. we make a move right after that. have decided where to go. around 3pm. not a good idea to go cameron via sg koyan. spooky road after 6pm you know. so decided to take southern coastal road.

leban chondong is our first destination. famous with shrimp.... half an hour there than we move to jb. to be specific goodhope hotel.
weather was cloudy all the way to jb. the traffic was heavy and congested especially from ulu tiram until skudai road. may be its friday. people are rushing home from work. arrive at gh hotel at 8pm. just call domino to deliver pizza to our room. lazy and tired to go out. supposed fina (our schoolmate in the states are coming but something came up, she cant make it). second time staying at goodhope. still the same. not really a good hotel.


day 2-saturday
after breakfast, we hit the road again to ayer keroh melaka.

stopped by at cikanos' house. another NU friend back in the states. almost an hour at her house catching up school days time and updating latest info about our friends. headed straight to kl after no one else available in melaka. dropped by my auntie house in gombak for lunch. thank god she only cook noodle for lunch. otherwise will be a problem to ride after heavy lunch. decided to go frasers' hill via kkb. before we start climbing, we dropped by our cuz house ani and azhar somewhere in serendah for tea. cathcing up a few things since they just came back from umrah. he told us to be careful while climbing. the road quite narrow and corners are short. spend almost 2 hours at their house.

nice view when we reach the dam. forgot the name of the dam. a lot of people fishing, sight seeing, lepaking etc... road condition is not bad compare to tapah. tapah cameron is worst than this. arrived in fraser around 8pm. for drivers/bikers.. need extra careful using this route. if you over shoot.. cliffs are waiting for you. road surface is not bad. much more better than tapah. check in at shahzan inn. thats the only hotel i remember while made the booking. next time wont be shahzan in. i found better place to stay next time. room a little bit old. the food suck. we have dinner and breakfast there. both sucks... hahahhaha not recommended lahhh.... but the view quite nice. got golf course in front of the hotel.

got schedule for vehicle going up and down the hill. odd hours for going up and even hour for going down. we left frasers' at 10am via raub.

the route much more better than from kkb to fraser. faster speed but still gotta be careful. the weather was very nice.. breezy, cold and the traffic wasnt that bad. maybe because not during holidays. about 12pm we have our lunch at temerloh rnr. suddenly me and my wife feel so hungry hahahah.... while we were riding somewhere in maran, i saw dato h with his bike on the way to kl. didnt notice dato b behind with his mini. reached home safe and sound at 2pm.

paka ict ride 20110324

actually this ride supposed to go kt for ict. since the weather wasnt good enough and meeting at rv not as expected we re-route to paka. the actual plan was 1 group to kt and the other to kb. endup we hit the road first. at kerteh when we stopped for cigarette break due to weather condition, we have decided to go for ict at paka(to be exact just beside residence inn paka).

we arrived about 4pm. food ok but not as good as bicuk mengabang telipot. you can have fish balls, crabs, khepok, ict, various kind of noodles, and various kind of drinks. those days only this stall exist. but nowadays, you can see so many stalls by the beach. nice view and place to relax while enjoying the food.

we stopped by at pappadelle for a drink in chukai. hot spot for us since this restaurant is own by our friend, good food(highly recommended) and near to surau. last but not least... mmmm the waitress's... friendly, and eye catching.. hahahha(guys am i using the right words?)

rode to kuantan with erry, arrived at 8pm... nice ride guys... do it again next time...

me and pokk arr already sick and tired of renewing our L license.. hahahhah we decided to take test for b full aka b0. register and straight away do the practise round with the intruction from instructor(moody instructor) hahhaha.... pok arr did first- the no 8, the palte thing, emergency braking, signaling etc hahahhah 2 rounds for each of us... we gelekek all the way... i think thats one of the reason that instructor were pissed off with us. i did the same. first round i were failed the plate thing.... anyway within the next two weeks we will gonna have our bee kosongggg....

3 stoogers...friday ict trip.. 20110304

nowhere to go.. nothing to do... what to do?? ride la hahhah. after a short trip to mee bandung sg lembing yesterday, me, pok arr and zek agreed to cruise along the coastal line. rv at caltex chukai 10am. all of us on time. it was really nice and easy cruise...

we rode thru kuala dungun bridge which connect kd with seberang pintasan where tj jara beach resort located at. we had our lunch at nelayan restaurant. not bad but pok arr was complaining(biasala pok arr... perfectionist)... i quote " kate five star, tapi service dok pong" hahahha pok arr pok arr... and he and zek started comparing with concord kl bla bla bla hahahahah...

we spend an hour at tj jara then move to kt. we stopped at kerepok 008 as usual. dating akmal already told pok arr to buy some kerepok. and it must bee 008 hahahha... i just can imagine how dating gave instruction to pok arr...

friday prayer at one masjid somewhere seberang marang. hot day. we take a break for a while at the masjid. then staright to bicuk the ict legend... nothing else compared to this place so far. like before wasnt open yet. friday maa... a lot of activities in terengganu and kelantan. we wait almost an hour before we can have our food.... awesome, walla, mabellehhhh.....

we left kt at 430pm. only me and pok arr. zek went to kb for his wireline course. think he is in kb still while i am writing this blog. arrived home like 8pm. save and sounds....

short notice... only dato b and dato h can make it to bring back the bike. dato h and me already in kl. dato b rode alone to kl just for this event. anyway, otomeng and d wait for us in termerloh rnr.

cameron highland trip thru sg koyan, raub.... 20110225-20110226

as usual we met in kemira for breakfast about 9am. nasi kerabu kemira became pok aar favorite food for breakfast in kuantan. six of us this time-anjemang, iwang, pok arr, jai, me, dato h, and otomeng. however, otomeng went to straight to kl. he got meeting at 2pm that afternoon. dato h joint us in raub. he was in kl the day before.

we took off from kemira around 10am. stopped by at awies' to fillup our tank. awie advice us to take lanchang exit. according to him the distance is shorter than bentong exit. the road conditon was not too bad from temerloh to raub. only the traffic was a bit busy. arrived at frasers' hill junction at about 1130am. this is where we wait and met dato h(we waitek, waitek for hing almost hah hour you know. luckily he showed up. otherwise bye-bye dato').

took another an hour to reach sg koyan thru raub. again we fill up our tank in petronas sg koyan since we do not know how far and when we will meet another petrol station. first time for all of us using this route to cameron highland.

sg koyan to cameron is awesome route. we have had enough corners that day. only a few point of the route, the road is a bit bumpy. especially while taking the corner. oooo.... make my blood really goes upstairs, you know. no wonder supercosa riders said this route is better than kulim-grik route. but for me, both got their own uniqueness(betol ke eja ni). an hour later we reached ringlet. regroup at the shell petrol station before headed to our hotel which is century pine resort..

on th way to the hotel we stopped by at bharat tea, cameron valley for a drink and scones. anjemang favorites'. (skong skong dari kuatang agi duk sebuk nok makang skong). but as usual i am the one who eat more than others .. heheheh

we went for dinner about 5pm somewhere in tanah rata. but in cameron(been here a few times) i never found a good place to eat. except for the vegetables and fruits. we ate at the restaurant opposite starbuck coffee. not really good food.

what else to do.... hahhaah karaoke time... but before that we stopped by at pasar malam in berinchang. no luck that day. i t was closed due to preparation for sultan pahang. so we just stopped for burn corn(jagung bakar heheheh) on the way to equetorial.

as usual pok arr is the king of the night. he's the singer, the joker, he's the man you know..... we conquered the hall. dato h, is tired. not really anticipate witht he session. anjemang with his lovely son palying the darts...

got back to the hotel at almosty 3am. we all stayed in the same duplex aprtment. what a nite. pokarr sang on the bike all the way from the karaoke till the hotel.... (pok arr pok arr... berahi sungguh ke donia). jai smoke that nite hahahhah jai jai what happen to you man.... (sejuk angak gamoknye)

the next morning after breakfast, we left for kl. we have decided to take tapah route. shorter and fastest route to kl. we have invitation for breakfast at two wheel garage for metalbutters. took about one and half hour to kl. quite fast that day. we spent almost 2 hours at twg. chit chating with visitor sat twg. in fact iwan also need to check a few things on his bike at that garage.

  

headed back home about 2pm. still got time for lunch in kuantan at kg pandan soup. the best curry and soup in town. spent an hour there talking about the same ooo shit... bike, ride and trip hahahahah... especially the ostolia hahahha...

reached home about 6-7pm  safe and sound. FOR DATO B AND JANG..... YOU HAVE MISSED A LOT THIS TIME..... HAHAHHAH... anyway we have decided to have family and golf trip sometimes in may. may Allah bless us all... bless all kings' riders...

still kemira is the meeting point before leaving for kl. me, pok arr, dato b and anjemang.. (dato b surprisingly joint us). arrived in kl almost 12pm. people out for lunch until 1pm. nothing much can do at solaris other than lepaking at paparich. enjoying our favarite menu taufufa...we stopped by solaris since i got tender to submit at kencana petroleum.  

at 2pm we already at david where we supposed to pick up the new bike. while waiting for aziz to arrived pok arr and anjemang do some shopping. dato b left for his office in sa. me???? hahhaha sleeping....

after we done at david , we headed for lunch. dato b propose this fish head curry at taman wahyu, jalan kuching. mann.... delicious... the read fish curry and cabbage soysauce... pehhh .... thanks to dato b. hes the man when it comes to eating places. jsut like pok mat(mel gibson) i guess. will come again next time foresure.

arrived home late evening since we settle our prayer at petronas gambang.
