20150103-04 flood relief tanamera

dj called asking whether i am available or not for tanamera flood relief tomorrow morning. i said yes. why not. i am free anyway. most of my friends already have activities. tanamera is one of the most affected flood area in kelantan. the worst is kuala krai. they decided to bring help to tanamera since kk already congested with people from all over malaysia.

we gathered at dj house at 2pm for loading all the stuff. total vehicle is 15 fully loaded and ready to rock and roll.

biasala dj and the gang never failed with food. actually we try to stop at pok nong. but pok nong was closed. we end up having ICT in rhu sepuluh. ate here before but expensive. we dont have enough choice that day since the day was getting dark.

the convoy overnite in kg raja besut. we have dinner in one of the best thai restaurant in kg raja. thats what people claim. for me food is food. you eat anyway. i forgot the name of this place. its near the main junction in kg raja.

in kg raja we stayed at 2 homestay. it was sponsored by the yb from that area.

first stop.. cant imagine the situation. i think its twice the worst flood we had in kuantan and kemaman 2 years ago.

the view in kg kudsia.. feel sorry for those victims. pray for them to stay strong. be calm. look for a better future.

we unloaded all the stuff on that day before headed home. mission completed.

had our late lunch at e-rup sup pasir putih. not many restaurant open in tanamera. in addition expensive during this time. 

not even an hour after that we stopped again in satay jabi. first time . not bad. full house. but we manage to get seats. will come again.

thanks all for the support. we had a great moments distributing the foods rations etc. good effort all. even i am just ad hoc volunteer but its worth of going.

20150101 rz restaurant segamat

while waiting for the nightline(new years eve actually), i told malek i will be riding to segamat. if he wants to joint rv in segamat. he asked me whats in segamat? i said i heard about one place like leban chondong. He googled and found the place. rz restaurant. mpc had been here before. so i left  kuanyan at 1030am after tennis and breakfast. took 2 hours to reach segamat. traffic is heavy due to flood somewhere in temerloh. So all vehicles from or to kl gotta use kl-bahau-muadzam-kuantan.

Arrived in segamat about the same time of malek. Malek with his wife aiza. good to see them actually. they just came back back from tour de thailand for almost 3 weeks. rv in petronas taman yayasan.

not to hard to find the place if you googled earlier. the food is good. but for me its much more expensive compare to leban chondong. we paid rm170 for 3 persons. if in LC rm170, we can have 3 kilos of shrimps. here we only have 4 big shrimps, 2 baung fish, and a few other dishes. 

we left segamat around 330pm. traffic was much more heavier than morning. reach home 530pm.

20141101 romantic couple from shah alam joint me to cameron

nothing to do during the weekend. planned to ride but not confirm. luckily apok came to pick up his new bike from chear. i told them why not coming with me to cameron. he wasnt up to it because he got nothing on him for overnight.  he finally make up his mind to come to cameron with me. he said he buy everything in cameron.

we left kuantan at 430pm. i was raining when we reach maran. pouring so heavy. the day getting dark. when we start climbing, it was already dark. like 730pm in sg koyan i guess. reach brinchang for dinner at 830pm. cold and raining.

first time having breakfast at this restaurant. not bad. near our apartment. its a buffet. rm5 per head. full package. appetizer, main course, dessert.

20140513 offroad to jeram tanduk

this is a program by kmx or kemaman motocross. one of the most active club in chukai. they always have programs almost every weeks. talked to mahat a few days before that. he mentioned of going camping in jeram tanduk. i said can i joint but i wont be staying over nite. since i am from kuantan got to ride all the way to jeram tanduk for camping. i know some bikers will do that but not me. hahhaha not adventure enough i guess.

i asked pok harr and also pekan. i know pekan hardly say no to offroad. so three of us with big bikes.

we arrived around 10am at the camping site. these guys are preparing for riding in the jungle. thats what motox is for right. almost 20 of em went for riding while we just relaxing, eating, swimming in the river.

very fresh, calm, relaxing but the watewr not too clear since it was raining for few days.

so this is jeram tanduk. one of the popular camping site in air putih.

besides motorcycle, we also have cyclist from cukai riding up until here. hahha no me babehh...

we went home around 2pm. nice road for offroading. but the track is short. we have to go in and get out from the same route. we are still looking for better route that we do not have to turn back. offroading is much better safer than riding on the hiway.
