kuala tahan trip 20110122

it was a very nice saturday morning. no family outing since my son mike gotta go to school. replacement for cny. long holiday for chinese school. nowhere to go. i brought the rest to zaman for nasi lemak. while having breakfast i m bb-ing and texting bikers. may be they have trip. no reply. so i told my wife lets ride to kl since our babysitter will be coming at 10am. when i got home, phone rang... guess who???? hahahhah "supercosa" yus was calling. he asked me whther i am interested in joining him to kuala tahan. i said yes why not? yessssssssssssssssssssss... i got i trip finally. i tolod him i am bringing my wife along. he said fine.

so i told my wife , we are not going to kl , kuala tahan instead. she said, am i the only lady. i said who cares.

we are running a bit late since too short notice from yus. we were behind. just follow the route told by yus to use the old road to jengka. same route but once we arrived in maran i chose a different route. i forgot how to get to jengka actually. they call it kuil road. there is a big giant kuil in the middle of the palm oil estet. the road i can say ... bad- sharp corner, narrow, holes everywhere, animals... trucks and so forth. but i always enjoy this kind road. the view... country side maaaa.. fresh air.. sometimes you can smell cow dunk. makes you more alert and precaution. about an hour ride, reach jengka but still no sign of other 'supercosa'. hahah you know why i called them supercosa. the tyre... hahahah these guys u know.....when dry weather aaa they all like king of the road maaaaaa..... when when wet weather aaaa..... just all just like chicken you know.... scare of the rain hahahhaah ( relax ah bro yus... jgn mare ... kekgi kena jual) hahahahah. actually the tyre is not suitable for wet condition. not safe for them to ride during wet condition. not for me. i hantam dok kire hujang ke ribuk ke... hahahha metalbutt maaaaa.... ade stapekek... 

finally, i met them in shell jengka. common check point for bandar jengka. i am the only one with tourer and with the wife. others all with the sport bike and full leather suite. feel like in sepang u know.... especially when they starts their engine. mine... if i start my engine jsut like kentutu dalam kaing maaaaa.... deso je bunyi...

lunch ikang pating in kuala tahan.... pehhh they all give 6 stars for the pating... me???? cannot go ikang sungai maaaa..... nazri hirup teruh kuoh... peh caye la you bro...

during lunch they have discussed whether to take the river cruise or not. me??? why not. if ya'll go i go. so this is not something we plan for the trip... hahahhaah my second time actually crusing this river. but i enjoy the nature very much.

we stopped by one the creek.... hahahahha guess what????? we all swim maaaa... paly like jane and tarzan..... this is really unanticipated event.... we enjoy so much this trip.... all of us i guess....

after all the activities, we take a rest at dakili house. this is where we compose ourself. got challet and campsite at this place. just by the river bank.... the owner is a lady. very nice lady....

we got home almost 9 at night. not tired all. very short ride. still can bring my kids to dinner at ecm. this is a hell of a close to the nature ride. just like the ride to zahidi place in tasik raban. to all supercosa.....abg long, amin, yus, hairi, sam, nazri(use to called him hayabusa before)and other( i did get some of your name guys..) thank you for the ride. i really enjoy the ride. let me know if you have any other ride in future.

this trip initaited by dato b. dto h always seconded any trip but this time he is not confirmed yet. me??? from the beginning did not confirm. but i already prepared all the documents in case i can go. in the first place,  anjemang, pokarr and dato b confirmed. zek is like me 50-50 since he just got hired by new company. anyhow he joint last minute. the actual plan was dato b ask us to overnite in kl on thursday so that on early friday morning can took off from kl. i only confirmed that i can go on thursday. i told pok arr earlier, i said if i go i wanna take off early. maybe thursday afternoon because i planned not to rush. just slow and steady and overnite in penang. pok arr agreed and told that anjemang will joint us. however, on thursday morning i couldnt find my key. mannn... what a day.. look almost everywhere. over and over again. almost give up. pok arr an d decide still go even i am not with them. finally, last kopek... i found my key. what a relief.... we took off about 6pm from rnr kuantan. arrived in penang around 10pm. as usual mee udang in sg dua is our priority.

we stayed in this hotel. somewhere in butterworth... the hotel is nice but the surrounding area is not very attractive... you know penang maaa....

at the border malaysia-thai.. look at pok arr... happy man.. anjemang in the back looking for his key... tu la wak maing sgt ke aku mase kuci aku ilang heheheh

while we entering thai border our friend, dato b, dato h and zek is struggling with dato b bikes'. his tyre got worn off. they have to wait about 7 hours just to settle this matter. got to use special tools to take of the tyre. and the tyre only available in penang.... ducati maaaaa.... pity ducati hahahha go ducati go.....

three of us arrived in danok around 1pm. straight check in at oliver. however anjemang proceed to hatyai since his friedns are waiting for golf at 2pm... my suggestion to anjemang.. nak main golf gi indon la bro... hehehhehe relak ah bro.. gugha sikit maroh lalu....

we checked in... run errant here and there. about 4pm we went to shooting range after waiting for 2 hours for fansuri to come. (fansuri is dato b manager in bukit kayu hitam office). he is the one who arrange all the bookings for our trip this time. 'we waited we waited' for other 3 bikes buk dey never sho... heheheh yes we waited until 10pm but they havent arrived yet. but our friend from hatyai-mejak arrived. he had a big smile on his face when he saw pok arr- his long lost tag teammate hahahahhaha a lot of story between them hahahaha. we went to nurlaila for dinner. mannnggggg..... the tomyam was sooooooooooo delicious. walla, superb, mabellehhhh.... the only place in kuantan you can get this kind of tomyam is sara thai kithcehn. slightly different but ok la... when we almost done eating those guys arrived. they went straight to black crab steam. kalu kemamang org panggil ketang nipoh ah...

suppose we use different route to kuantan. we planned for yala-narathiwat-golok-kb-kt-ktn. but anjemang got the news, besut and setiu was flooded. then no cjoice gotta use same route we came. what a boring hiway. i prefer state road instead of hiway... better view i guess... a bit tired on way home. not enough sleep for most of us.
at gurun rest area, dato b notice a nail on his tyre. agiain gotta to exit to sg petani to repair the tyre. not a good trip for dato b this time. but his lucky. only tiny winy nail .. not punctured the tire.

3 of us, me, pok arr and zek using batang kali route to kemaman. other 3 to kl. we cruise in the windy breezy weather that nite. i reach home about 8pm.

pizza ride to bukit tinggi....

dato b informed the group that he will be available for a ride tomorrow. no one is available except me. i am free..cuti new year maaa... but dato b always has 'p/s: i love you' when he plan for a ride. so i am not hoping just do what i have to do in the morning. then he called confirming our trip to bkt tinggi instead of rompin. meeting point rnr kuantan at 1pm. i text helmi if he could joint us. he said yes but he wants to drop by temerloh. one of the rider from kt invloved in accident a few days before. helmi is a bit late, so we wait for him in petronas gambang.

very funny. but its true. he used a plastic bag as a shoes protector hahahahah.... me and dato b golek sepoint hahahhaah

while waiting for helmi a group supermotard arrived. i tot this bike only for offroad hahahha.. never tried before. talked to one of the rider. he told us the cc is 110. and they can go up to 100kmh. mannn.. for that bike...

actually we dropped by at temerloh hospital before proceed to bukit tinggi but the ward was closed. so we have to come again on the way back. still wont be able to get in. only met his brother in law in the lobby. that guy still on the life support when we visited him. we had our dinner at a restaurant called malbatt.... superb and delicious... walla.... can come again next time. good service and food. almost full house... 5 stars.. recommended to come for all bikerss....
